The Feldenkrais Method

Precise,  focused movements that creates conditions for learning about ourselves.

Learn to build a reliable, mobile, supple spine that more easily and willingly changes shape according to your needs and wants throughout your day.

Awareness Through Movement® (ATMs) classes are groups or private lessons and invite you to learn more about yourself; to move in an authentic way that is congruent with your personal body type. Lasting from 30 to 60 minutes, ATMs range from extremely simple and slow to faster-paced and athletic to seemingly impossible. The intention, or point behind an ATM practice is “making the impossible possible, the possible easy and the easy elegant”. Moshe Feldenkrais

Functional Integration® (FI) is the one-on-one, hands on aspect of the Feldenkrais Method.

At this point in my Feldenkrais Method training, I am still practice-teaching  Functional Integration sessions so they are free to you.

(You can read more about the Feldenkrais Method, beginnings and creator Moshe Feldenkrais, on my page About the Feldenkrais Method.)

Dance and the Nia Technique

These classes are evolving (as my classes always do) and will give you a wide variety of movement opportunities:
-Easy-to-learn dance choreography will be combined with focused strength training as well as basic martial arts.
-Nia will be combined with Creative Intervals (working with basic improvisation).
-Tightly choreographed songs will be combined with Free Dance and basic improvisation.
Dance classes are in an interval format.
This is dance for everybody!
